Daniel used his wheelbarrow to haul them to our brush pile.....

I've been meaning to make a chore chart & start Daniel and Laura Ann on some chores for a long time & just haven't done it. They basicly just keep their rooms, the playroom & their stuff in the garage picked up & are definitely old enough to take on a bit more. Yesterday we started with weeding the garden & other beds in the back yard. I thought there would be grumbling about it, but they were so excited, especially Daniel! He asked for more to do when we were finished, so Dan gave him some things to do in the yard today. He did them all by himself without being asked! I'm sure this won't last forever, but I'm loving it for now!

 
Sorting Laundry......
Today we perfected our bedmaking skills & learned to sort laundry. They sorted all of their clothes into 3 piles, one color, one white & one stains that need treating. They also had to make sure everything was turned the right way. What a huge help for me!
