We waited until Daniel & Laura Ann got home to have our New Year's dinner......pork chops, black eyed peas, turnip greens, mashed potatoes, corn bread and added cherry pie & ice cream this year, per Daniel's request!

Becky, Janeena & Me
Dan & I enjoyed a yummy dinner out with friends on New Years Eve at Brios. Since our dinner reservations were at 5:15 (had to work around babies & sitters), we decided we would get really wild & crazy & go to Yogurt Mountain afterward for dessert. Sad to say, Yogurt Mountain, 32 degrees, Bruesters & every other dessert/ ice cream placed CLOSED early on NYE & we missed out!!! We had to settle for Dairy Queen drive thru because by that time, there were 3 hungry babies waiting on Becky & Janeena to be home!!!

Sweet Walker......I got in some snuggle time with him while Janeena was feeding his sister.......yea, I was in heaven.......
NYE.....Laura Ann, Jessie, Daniel & Woody ready to head to Big Daddy & Nanna's for a weekend full of fun!
Wow! I can hardly believe 2010 is over! It has been a great year for the James family. One full of grace & blessings of which we are so very thankful. Dan spent New Years Day in his recliner watching football & I spent New Years Day on the sofa rereading my all time favorite book, Redeeming Love. We have many plans for 2011 and are looking forward to all that it has in store for us! I thought I would claim one of the verses from the book for our new year......
Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. -Proverbs 19:21
Praying that the Lord's purpose will prevail in our lives in 2011! Happy New Year!
