Danul

Daniel informed me tonight that his name is NOT spelled Daniel. He then proceeded to 'sound' it out..... d-a-n-u-l.....to prove his point. I explained that sometimes words aren't spelled the way that they sound, but he wasn't convinced & kept on writing it, Danul. Looks like we may have to change his birth certificate! I mean, how do you argue with a 6 year old about phonics?? :)

**This also makes me laugh because Laura Ann called him Dan-ul forever.
