Our favorite Virginians (former Texans), Fred, Alison & Ian, arrived at our house this afternoon. Daniel & Laura Ann were very excited to see Ian and play with him. Ian warmed up very quickly and dove right into the normal madness that goes on here. He just happens to love trucks & cars and lucky for him, we have just a few of those. Fred & Alison had a rehearsal dinner to attend, so Ian stayed here with us. We ate pizza, made self portraits and decorated our Easter tree. It was a fun filled evening and much to my relief everyone (Ian included) went to bed without a fuss! And although there were no movies, Mt. Dew or Reeses Cups involved (the usual sleepover grub for us back in the day), Alison & I did sit up for awhile catching up when she got home!
