Jingle

His first appearance

Daniel pointing him out to Laura Ann

With his book & letter from Santa

One morning they found him hiding in the gumball jar!

Although their mom has been terribly resistant, Santa finally convinced her that Daniel and Laura Ann really needed an elf. She was resistant because so many elves in Trussville require lots of work, but Santa convinced her that Jingle would be very low maintence, so she agreed. Jingle arrived at the James house on December 1st. Daniel spotted him first & pointed him out to Laura Ann. They were super excited! We read his book where we found out that he is not allowed to talk to us & if we touch him, he will loose his magic & not be able to tell Santa about our GREAT behavior (ha!). He can, however, listen & relay messages to Santa on our behalf. He goes to the North Pole every night to give Santa a report on our household & returns to a different spot each morning. Daniel wakes up every morning on the hunt for him (Laura Ann just has to settle for Daniel telling her where he is because she's always the second one up!). One day they couldn't find him & finally realized that he was in Laura Ann's gumball jar! Daniel and Laura Ann's mom is thinking that she made a good decision because she is so enjoying listening to the cute conversations that they are having with Jingle!

Buddy the Elf is residing at our house for a few weeks. He's not been as mischevious as Jingle has been though.
