Daniel Has a Gingerbread House Legacy

I was so sad last year at Daniel's Gingerbread House party at the WEE Center because it was his last year to have one. His gingerbread house is always my favorite Christmas decoration. Thankfully, Laura Ann entered the kindergarten program of the WEE Center just in time to carry on Daniel's legacy of the Gingerbread house! Yay! And I'll get one next year too when she's in 4K. When Laura Ann leaves the WEE Center, I guess we'll have to start having our own gingerbread house party at home...... :) Laura Ann was super excited about the party......as with so many other things, I think it was because she knew she was getting to do something Daniel has done in previous years. She was way more into decorating her house than Daniel ever was. All Daniel did was consume the decorations, while I tried to focus some of his attention on the task at hand. Laura Ann was all into putting the candy on her house and making windows and doors. She didn't eat any candy or icing until we were about half way finished. She was SOOOO proud of her finished product and it is now resting in it's place of honor on our cake stand in the kitchen!
