De' ja' vu

Didn't this just happen last week or am I dreaming??? Daniel was cleaning his room last night to get ready for bed & came running out holding his 2nd wobbly tooth! The excitement was the same as last week- barely containable! He was ready to jump right into bed, so not to miss the tooth fairy. The tooth fairy handled it all very well now that she has some experience visiting the James' household. In an effort to repeat every aspect of last week's experience, Daniel woke up again about 2:30 am. Only this time he wasn't crying, just calling me. Dan went to check on him & he had found what the tooth fairy left- another letter & some more $$$! Dan read him the letter & tucked him back in. I didn't hear from him again until almost 6 when he came running in my room to show me what he found under his pillow. He was also excited to tell Laura Ann the whole ordeal since she was already in bed last night when the tooth came out. I'm starting to see a pattern with Santa's visit this year & the 2:00 am wake up, along with these two visits from the Tooth Fairy- Daniel is absolutely unable to sleep through the night under such exciting circumstances (which is strange to me because he NEVER wakes up in the middle of the night!). I'm thinking the Easter Bunny may skip this year or not come until quiet time! Geez! Anyway, as of now, there are no loose teeth in the James' house, which is good thing because the Tooth Fairy is almost broke!!!! :)

Since saving $ money from the Tooth Fairy is almost impossible, we stopped at Kmart on the way home from school & loaded up with $5 worth of candy, for Daniel & Laura Ann. He was most gracious & shared with his sister again. They actually both picked out toys & when we got to the check out, they wanted all of the candy. I told them they had to choose, toy or candy & they both just dropped their toys! Ha!

On a side note, I talked to the Tooth Fairy this morning on the phone (let's just say I have connections) & she told me that she will be visiting the kindergarten classes at the WEE Center next week to talk about dental care. She is especially excited to see Daniel since he has kept her so busy lately. What a treat for him to get to see her in person!
