While we were in Moulton on Friday, I took Daniel & Laura Ann out to the old McWhorter homeplace, where my Papaw grew up & took some fall pictures. I always loose count, but it was either his grandfather or great grandfather who built the house. Anyway, several generations of McWhorters lived there & many more of us have special memories of visiting grandparents & great grandparents at that house. Daniel & Laura Ann had a great time playing in the leaves & enjoyed Gran's stories about playing with all of her cousins there when she was growing up. I had few stories to tell too- of playing with my 3rd cousins there when I was little. My memories are more of the food than the playing though, just think of about every covered dish possible & that would be a family gathering at Mamaw McWhorter's. We also enjoyed visiting with O.D., Elizabeth & Rhonda who dropped by to say hello during our photo shoot.

You do SUCH a great job with the pictures! They all look great! I may have to talk Jonathan into getting a new camera for me...maybe I can convince him it would save on photographer fees?!?!
