Daniel was soooo excited!
Look how pitiful.......
Laura Ann started up the sidewalk smiling, but by the time she reached Dan, her bottom lip was quivering & she had tears in her eyes. I'm not sure if it was because she'd been gone for three days or if she was just overwhelmed coming home to a different house.
After a few good hugs, she was fine & wanted to see her room!
Gran and Papa brought Daniel and Laura Ann back yesterday after a fun filled few days in Moulton. Gran and Papa got a little confused finding our house, but not to worry, Daniel showed them the way! :) Daniel got out of the car so excited to see his room (good thing I got his bed made just before he got here!). Laura Ann got out smiling, but had a little 'emotional moment' when she reached Dan. Bless her, she is such a girl! Ha! She recovered quickly and was excited to see her room too!
*Funny conversation with Daniel this morning:
Daniel- Mom, I have a funny feeling about our other house.
Me- Yea, me too, I feel a little sad not to be there and I kind of miss it.
Daniel- It's ok, Mom. This is just a new thing, like going to a new place or eating a new food. You don't have to be afraid, you can be brave.
Me- You are so right, Daniel. Thanks for making me feel better!
And I thought I was supposed to be the one giving comfort & advice! :)

precious...your kids are making me cry! I can't wait to come visit. I can't imagine moving! I guess looking back you are wondering how you did it!!
