The day could've ended after the treasure hunt this morning with two perfectly happy children, but since the treasure hunt ended at 8:00 am, the day had to continue. We headed out to the beach a little later in the morning to find that the waves were too big to play in & that resulted in two unhappy children (see pic above), so our 2nd trek to the beach this morning was short-lived & we ended up spending the rest of the morning in the pool. We did get to see a dolphin though, swimming very close to the shore. Naptime today didn't go as smoothly either- Laura Ann refused a nap, even after Dan layed down with her for an hour! Oh well. She did get a little shut eye on the way to dinner. We tried a new restaurant tonight- Boon Docks & it was a hit with all of us. Laura Ann turned in early tonight & Daniel enjoyed one more dip in the pool before bedtime. Daniel has played pirate all day & has declared himself "the boss" since he is the one that found the treasure. His only proclamation so far as boss is that he is always the leader or in front wherever we go. This "boss" thing could start to be a problem! :) Can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring.......
