Ya ho! Ya ho! Today started with Daniel finding a treasure map in his bunkbed left by Captain Hook himself. We decided to follow the map down to the beach & see if there was a real hidden treasure. Daniel was ALL into it & was so funny! Some of the things he said on the way to the beach: "Big Daddy, your job is to carry the shovel", "Boy, Captain Hook left good directions.", "Quiet! I'm trying to read the map!" "Captain Hook said we can keep it." We were all super excited to find a real treasure box buried on the beach. (I won't mention too many details about Dan & Big Daddy's run in with law inforcement EARLY this morning while trying to bury a certain something on the beach- they thought Dan was bothering turtle eggs! ha!) In no time at all the locks were removed & Daniel & Laura Ann were elbow deep into the loot! I think the loot will keep them occupied for awhile. Thanks to Nanna & Big Daddy for providing a super fun adventure!

Love all the pictures...but this is PRECIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Love this idea. I can just hear Daniel. I bet he was beside himself!
