VBS, here we come!

 
 

Dan snapped this pic of us on Monday before heading off to VBS. We have had a fun filled week. Laura Ann's teachers have done a great job teaching bible verses. She comes home everyday saying, "Thank you God for Jeeeeesus!", kind of in a chant- so cute! Daniel has also had a great week & learned some fun songs. He is even liking crafts- yea! His VBS track record hasn't been great in past years, so hearing his teacher say everyday when I pic him up that "he is precious!" is quite a treat for me. He did have a little mishap today in the bathroom- he somehow managed to tee-tee on a friend rather than the potty. There were 3 boys in 1 stall, so I'm sure he wasn't the only one participating, but he, of course was the one w/ the good aim. That made him the one caught & punished. So, after bible school, I made him clean the boys bathroom. So not fun, hopefully he got the point! All of my friends seemed to think this was hysterical. Now that some time has passed, I am starting to find some humor in it too. Boys will be boys, I suppose. After all, was I to expect a him to have a totally perfect week? :)
