No big moment in the lives of the James family is complete without some sort of ice cream celebration, so we headed to Yogurt Mountain afterward.
Ok, I guess I'm going to have to concede & allow Daniel to go to first grade. We went to meet the teacher at Paine tonight & it seems that his name is on the first grade roll, of a teacher who is on the first grade orange hall. So, that makes it official, he's a FIRST GRADER!!! He was very excited to meet Mrs. Johnson, as was I! She was very sweet & seems to be the perfect fit for Daniel. He has several buddies from baseball, church & Ms. Elledge's class in his class so he felt quite at home. We are now counting down to the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!
