Laura Ann hasn't mastered writing her whole name legibly, so she just wrote an 'L' and I wrote the rest.
Laura Ann has her Valentine Party at school tomorrow. She was SOOOO excited to sit down & work on her cards......I didn't have to coax her to finish. She just flew right threw them & then I had to give her some extras because she wanted more to do. I am realizing that all of these 'cutesy' holiday activities are really girl things. Daniel likes some of them ok, but has never appreciated them quite the way Laura Ann does. She thinks they are the greatest, most fun things ever. Daniel, who doesn't like 'pencil work', has always begged me to do his cards for him, but this year, he did sit down and work on them without complaining. The difference is that he did them because he knew he had to & that they would result in a fun party with his class. Laura Ann did them for the sheer joy of writing on a card for each of her classmates. Either way, love is in the air!
