Gran and Papa joined us for a wonderful Easter service at church and then Nanna and Big Daddy met us at home afterwards for lunch. Daniel and Laura Ann enjoyed yet even more Easter treats from all of the grandparents. Gran brought her bunny cake to decorate & Big Daddy brought Easter cupcakes. That, on top of all the candy in their baskets......can we say sugar overload??? Sam, Heather & Kate joined us later in the afternoon to help with the bunny cake decoration and to hunt eggs. I encouraged Daniel & Laura Ann to be good sports, so Kate would have a chance to get some eggs, but they apparently haven't learned the 'good sport' concept yet. Good thing Uncle Sam was on Kate's 'hunting team'! We also had a little birthday time with Kate since we'll miss her party next weekend. I can't believe she's turning 2! It was a super fun day with our families, and what a great occasion to celebrate our RISEN SAVIOR!
