Sympathy or Guilt?

Maybe both..... Daniel could hardly wait for Laura Ann to wake up Thursday morning to check on her & see how her 'boo boo' was. While he was waiting, he drew a picture of the two of them at the water park on a waterslide to help her 'feel better'. Her fall was an accident, but he realized that he had a part in it even though they were just playing & she had been pushing too. Hopefully this experience will put an end to their little run, push game (I have to say, in Daniel's defense, that Laura Ann loves this 'game' & is almost always the one who initiates it!). Laura Ann got up in THE BEST mood! She was full of expression telling Daniel all about her ER experience. I told her that she should stay home w/ me to let her boo boo get better & she said, "No, I want to go to school. All my friends will be so sad that I got hurt. Mrs. Becky will say, 'oh my goodness, what did you do?'..." She was very proud of her gash & wanted to show it off, so off to school we went. And guess what, Mrs. Becky said exactly what Laura Ann thought she would say! Ha!

Bless her heart! Glad to hear she didn't need any stiches! How funny is it that she wanted to show her battle wound off to get sympathy!!! Too cute! :)
