I suppose it was inevitable, as many falls as this child has taken, but Laura Ann finally had her first visit to the ER tonight. She & Daniel were running around our classroom after Mission Friends at church when she fell & hit her head on the edge of a chair (she may have had a little help from her brother). Anyway, when the bleeding finally slowed down, we could see that she needed a little more than a band aid, so she & I made the trek to the ER. She was quite the trooper & was very curious about everyone & why they were there. She made friends with a little boy about her size who had swallowed a quarter. He was still in his room when we left, so I don't know how that turned out. My personal favorite was the guy in the Larry the Cable Guy pjs with the barf bag! Ha! Anyway, after looking at the cut for a few minutes, the doctor determined that she would only need glue, no stitches. Yay! She was very brave & layed so very still while he glued her cut. She should be good as new in about a week!
