Our Shepherd

Ok, Daniel's life as a preschooler is now complete- he's been a shepherd in the Christmas Play. Isn't that some sort of 'right of passage' or something? He wasn't really that excited about it, but cooperated fairly well. He was excited, however, to say his Bible verse that he's been working on for a month. But, by the point of the program when the 5K class recited the verses (Luke 2:8-14), the angel choir had fallen apart (literally) & the microphone didn't work well, so no one could hear them! It really was like a scene from 'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever'. Herdmans were everywhere! Ha! There were lots of 'criers' in the angel choir & it seemed to be a chain reaction. The ones who weren't crying were bored & starting to be 'busy'. It was quite entertaining, which was the purpose for the program in the first place, right? Anyway, after the program ended, the 5K class did a 'repeat performance' for the 5K parents. They were divided into groups & each group had a verse to recite- Daniel's was Luke 2:10, "But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people." He did GREAT! He knows the entire thing & as Laura Ann, did a solo performance for the grandparents when we got home. I am going to make a good effort this week to record it! Great job Daniel! You make an awesome shepherd!
