We have spent countless days at the YMCA swimming this summer, but I have only taken my camera one time & only got pics of them at the baby pool then. Since summer is quickly coming to an end, I managed to take my camera to the pool today & get some pictures of Daniel & Laura Ann swimming. They both LOVE the water. Daniel is doing great swimming, but I can't convince him to take the swim test & have the huge honor of wearing a green swimmer band (instead of the red nonswimmer band that he has to wear now)- maybe next week. Laura Ann does still wear her vest, but she is all over the place & loves jumping in by herself. She is very close- I'm sure she will get there next summer! Regardless of the lack of pictures, when I think back to the summer of '09, swimming at the Y will probably be the first thing that comes to mind! Thank goodness for pools during the hot summer days to keep us cool!
