I decided last night that it would be fun to visit Gran & Papa at the beach, so Daniel, Laura Ann & I loaded up this morning & headed to Gulf Shores. We got here just after lunch (& can I say how GREAT they both were on the ride down?? They are both at good travel ages!). Daniel & Laura Ann wasted no time & had us at the pool within the hour we got here. The people at the pool told us that the jellyfish were bad in the ocean today (washed in from a storm this morning), so we just stuck to the pool this afternoon. After dinner tonight at the Original Oyster House & much begging from Daniel, we gave the beach a try. Within minutes of standing just on the edge of the water, Papa spotted a jellyfish, so the water was off limits. Daniel never got close again, but Laura Ann wasn't too worried about jellyfish! It was a task trying to keep her out of the water. They both had a ball in the sand & enjoyed a walk on the beach. After a thorough hose down & bath, I'm sure they both still have sand in their hair & ears. How do you ever get it all- especially after the head rolls by Daniel? Looking forward to more swim & sand time tomorrow!
