Daniel finally summoned the courage today to take the swim test at the Y & got a green swim band! YAY!!! He's been able to swim for 2 years, just refused to take the test. He wouldn't do it when we first got there today, but when Emily arrived he all of sudden decided to do it.......I'm thinking to impress Emily?? Whatever the reason, I'm just so glad he finally did it. He was so proud of himself too & had the freedom to go all over the pool without me! Way to go, Daniel!!! We celebrated afterward with chocolate sundaes from McDonalds.

Just to let you know, Emily told Brian that Daniel asked her to be his girlfriend!!!!!!!!! Brian told her that yes, she is Daniel's friend, and yes, she's a girl! Now, if we could just convince Emily to take the swim test...
