Dan found a snake in our side yard last Thursday (thankfully him & not the kids). Daniel & Laura Ann thought it was really neat, but didn't want to get too close. Dan refused to kill it b/c it is a "good" snake (there is no such thing in my book), so using Daniel's long shovel, the "good" snake got thrown over the fence back into the woods- where he'll hopefully stay.

Oh Haley! I would just die if Anderson got that close to a snake!! We had a huge one at our old house in Moody and Jonathan reacted worse that I did! I'm always fearful of finding one in our yard! EEK!!
