.....and so much more! We usually go to Brookwood mall to see Santa, but several friends have recommended the new Bass Pro Shop & it is closer, so we thought we'd try it out. I am not an outdoor person & knew nothing about this place, but boy was I surprised! It was HUGE & I actually found some things I liked! :) Santa was great & super friendly. Mrs. Claus was there too. We spent lots of time in Santa's wonderland after our visit w/ him. There was a coloring station, train tables, remote control vehicles, and a shooting range. As if that wasn't enough, we toured the rest of the store to check out all of the wildlife. It was as good as the zoo, only the animals weren't alive (w/ the exception of the fish). By the time we were ready to go, it was lunch time, so we stayed a little longer & ate lunch in the snack shop. It was a fun morning. I knew visiting Santa would be fun, but I was not expecting all of the "extras". I LOVE that store! We will definitely be going back soon! Oh, I forgot to mention how the Santa visit went- Daniel, of course, went straight to him & told him that he wanted a Thomas set (how sweet is that picture?!?). Laura Ann surprised us & after a minute of hesitation, wanted to sit in his lap with Daniel! She even told him that she wants a dollhouse & said "Merry Christmas". What a difference a week makes- she was terrified of the Polar Express Santa!
